myMV - Web-based Communications Platform

myMV™ is a convenient, easy to use internet portal configured on a hospital's web server which provides secure access from web enabled remote computers to the MetaVision^® database. myMV enables clinicians to remotely view and enter patient data when located off-site. In the pre-op phase for example, clinicians can use myMV to enter medical, demographic and personal patient data and plan pre-medication from virtually any location with Internet access (such as from an off-site pre-op clinic).

User-friendly and fully customizable web forms provide clinicians remote access to a variety of information including lab results. The benefit of immediate access to important data provided by myMV is invaluable and can be a crucial factor in bringing about a positive outcome. The portal can be configured by a hospital's IT department to work within a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to securely offer access from any computer while requiring a user name and password to log-on.
 

MV-PDA - Mobile Connectivity via Handheld Devices

MV-PDA™ offers convenience by freeing clinicians in the critical care arena from the bonds of their computer workstations. It provides a number of significant advantages for both intensivists and anesthesiologists.

Accessing and editing patient data by intensivists is a snap. Whether in the ICU or when away, the MV-PDA saves the time and hassle of entering handwritten notes, and eliminates the need for a computer to conduct initial consultation.

For anesthesiologists MV-PDA represents an extremely valuable tool that permits holding pre-op consultations with patients from virtually any location, documenting patient demographic data and other observations in preparation for anesthesia.

MV-PDA can work online if within the clinic or hospital itself (with WiFi, Bluetooth and other wireless technologies), or offline when working from a remote location such as a day clinic across town or at home.
 

MVmobile - Critical Data During Transport

MVmobile™ is a module of the MetaVision Suite that supports the monitoring and documentation of critically ill patients during inter-hospital transport. It provides a live stream of patient data to hospital-based clinicians which enables them to monitor patient status, support the transport team from a remote location, make more knowledgeable and educated decisions, and prepare for receiving the patient.

MVmobile captures a wide range of physiological data such as vital signs, respiratory information, medication, and blood gases, with data sampling taking place at one-minute intervals from all medical devices. This information is displayed on a laptop in the transport vehicle or at the patient bed while on the move if necessary, then wirelessly transmitted real-time to the hospital.

The ongoing flow of data provided by MVmobile gives the receiving unit a more accurate picture of the patient status and builds a more complete patient record. MetaVision Suite decision support tools such as the Event Manager are an integral part of MVmobile, which assists clinicians in recognizing significant events at their outset.
