Read MoreThe hospital was the first German site to adopt MetaVision, over a decade ago, and continues to demonstrate its confidence in and satisfactionwith MetaVision.
This new hospital is using the system in over 100 beds, in their ICU, NICU, PICU, OR, PACU, and IVF rooms.
Krankenhaus St. Raphael Ostercappeln is already using MetaVision in their OR. Two hospitals from Niels-Stensen-Kliniken have jointly customised their database to include both OR and ICUs departments' workflows, with a third hospital slated to join at a later stage. The advantages of this shared database include centralised management and customisation, protocol enforcement and having one system for staff who move across hospitals.
This milestone is part of a larger project at St. Franziskus Stiftung, a foundation using MetaVision in four of its fifteen hospitals. These four hospitals are using one database that can be localised per site but is managed centrally from one location, lowering total cost of ownership.
The hospital has successfully upgraded all their ICUs and ORs to the latest version of the system.
The MetaVision PDMS is being implemented across all the intensive care units and high dependency units. In parallel, MetaVision SafeTrack, our mobile electronic observation system, is being rolled across all general wards. UHS will benefit from having a single patient observation record across all clinical areas, ensuring a complete continuum of care hospital-wide.

MetaVision will be implemented in all the ICUs and ORs at the hospital, comprising about 450 beds. Additionally, iMDsoft and Meona are cooperating on the Synergy product, which will provide patients with a complete continuum of care across the patient journey.
They will be using the system all the pre-op, intra-op and post-op units of their three hospitals: Grabs, Altstätten and Walenstadt. SR RWS was impressed with MetaVision’s multi-site capability: its distributed database architecture enables networks to maintain uniformity and enforce clinical best practices across institutions.
Read MoreCoffs Harbour Health Campus and St George Hospital have both gone live with the electronic Record for Intensive Care (eRIC) solution, which involves the installation of MetaVision software throughout the state’s throughout the state’s adult, paediatric and neonatal ICUs. St George Hospital is the first metropolitan hospital to deploy the solution. Port Macquarie Base Hospital, the pilot site for eRIC, has been live with MetaVision since October.
