    University Hospital Southampton introduces mobile electronic observation capture from iMDsoft as part of a hospital-wide project

    MetaVision SafeTrack is live on the Trauma and Orthopaedic, Surgery and Gynaecology wards (320 level 1 beds) and will next be implemented across Medicine as part of the hospital-wide rollout. Using mobile devices, nurses of all grades capture observations for their patients directly onto MetaVision SafeTrack, which calculates the MEWS (Modified Early Warning Score) and advises the next appropriate steps regarding escalation and observation frequency. Clinicians can review the observational data from any UHS PC, laptop, iPad or iPod, as well as any personal device connected to the hospital Wi-Fi.

    The framework was developed by QE Facilities, a subsidiary company of Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust, and is one of the broadest clinical IT frameworks in the market.     This certification attests that MetaVision’s functionalities help improve the quality of prescribing, facilitate the job of the prescribing physician, promote regulatory compliance for prescriptions and reduce the cost of treatment of equal quality. MetaVision, in conjunction with VIDAL Hoptimal, meets all 108 of the criteria outlined in the mandate of June 2012, including requirements for mode of choice of medicines, contraindication and interaction notifications, and information about inpatient prescriptions and outpatient prescriptions.

    Successful start to St. Franziskus Stiftung project: First hospital goes live

    Franziskus Hospital Münster, a longtime iMDsoft customer, has upgraded to the latest version of MetaVision in their ICU and OR. St. Franziskus Stiftung, a German foundation, will use one database for all four sites in the project: St. Franziskus-Hospital Münster, St. Barbara-Klinik Hamm-Heessen, Krankenhaus St. Joseph-Stift Bremen and St. Bernhard-Hospital Kamp- Lintfort. This database will be managed centrally from one location, lowering total cost of ownership.

    MetaVision now live at all three hospitals in Västerbotten County Council, Sweden

    The council, which is comprised of Norrland University Hospital in Umeå, Lycksele Hospital, and Skellefteå Hospital, is currently installing MetaVision in 160 beds, throughout their critical care environment. The regional project will continue with implementations in units such as NICUs, ICUs, CTICUs, intermediate care units, ORs and PACUs through the spring of 2017.

    iMDsoft delivers clinical information management to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Canada

    MetaVision is now live throughout their critical care environment. The system has been implemented in adult, neonatal and burn intensive care units, across a total of 145 beds. Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre has 1.2 million patient visits each year and is home to Canada's largest trauma centre. Two hundred scientists and clinician-scientists conduct more than a hundred million dollars of breakthrough research each year.

    Fifth site at Nexuz Health in Belgium goes live with MetaVision

     AZ Turnhout, a large regional hospital spread over 2 campuses, is now using the system in their ICU. Nexuz Health, a consortium of 17 partners who work together to support the goals of accessible and high-quality patient care in Flanders, uses Klinisch Werk Station for computerised management of its patient records throughout the network, with MetaVision providing specialised functionality and standardisation of workflows for over 200 critical care beds to date. A sixth Nexuz hospital, AZ Sint-Jan Brugge-Oostende, is slated to go-live in the spring of 2017.
