The hospital has replaced paper records with MetaVision in the OR at Heerlen, joining previous implementations in Heerlen's ICU and Sittard’s OR. When complete, the project will encompass 110 beds at the two locations.
This go-live joins previous implementations in the hospital's surgery and internal medicine ICUs, with the neuro intermediate care unit to follow in Q4. MetaVision supports ICUs of any size and any specialty and has been successfully implemented in various types of ICUs worldwide. University Hospital Frankfurt is now using MetaVision in a total of 110 beds.
The hospital now has digital pre-op assessments and electronic patient records in their OR and post-op units. This implementation is part of a larger project with hospital group Niels-Stensen-Kliniken, which will be using MetaVision across the high acuity environments of their three sites.
AZ Sint-Jan Brugge-Oostende now has electronic patient records in over 50 ICU beds, joining UZ Leuven, AZ Groeninge Kortrijk, OLV Ziekenhuis Aalst, AZ Sint-Lucas and AZ Turnhout in using MetaVision. MetaVision SafeTrack is live on the Trauma and Orthopaedic, Surgery and Gynaecology wards (320 level 1 beds) and will next be implemented across Medicine as part of the hospital-wide rollout. Using mobile devices, nurses of all grades capture observations for their patients directly onto MetaVision SafeTrack, which calculates the MEWS (Modified Early Warning Score) and advises the next appropriate steps regarding escalation and observation frequency. Clinicians can review the observational data from any UHS PC, laptop, iPad or iPod, as well as any personal device connected to the hospital Wi-Fi.
CHU de Poitiers, comprised of two sites, will be implementing the system in 88 beds across 5 departments. The hospital was impressed with MetaVision’s specialised functionality for neonatal and paediatric care and with iMDsoft’s strong reputation at leading French sites.
