Franziskus Hospital Münster, a longtime iMDsoft customer, has upgraded to the latest version of MetaVision in their ICU and OR. St. Franziskus Stiftung, a German foundation, will use one database for all four sites in the project: St. Franziskus-Hospital Münster, St. Barbara-Klinik Hamm-Heessen, Krankenhaus St. Joseph-Stift Bremen and St. Bernhard-Hospital Kamp- Lintfort. This database will be managed centrally from one location, lowering total cost of ownership.
The council, which is comprised of Norrland University Hospital in Umeå, Lycksele Hospital, and Skellefteå Hospital, is currently installing MetaVision in 160 beds, throughout their critical care environment. The regional project will continue with implementations in units such as NICUs, ICUs, CTICUs, intermediate care units, ORs and PACUs through the spring of 2017.

AZ Turnhout, a large regional hospital spread over 2 campuses, is now using the system in their ICU. Nexuz Health, a consortium of 17 partners who work together to support the goals of accessible and high-quality patient care in Flanders, uses Klinisch Werk Station for computerised management of its patient records throughout the network, with MetaVision providing specialised functionality and standardisation of workflows for over 200 critical care beds to date. A sixth Nexuz hospital, AZ Sint-Jan Brugge-Oostende, is slated to go-live in the spring of 2017.
Akademiska Sjukhuset has rolled out the system to their Neonatal ICU. Uppsala County Council, which includes Akademiska Sjukhuset and Enköping Hospital, is implementing MetaVision across their high acuity environments. The regional project is well underway, with a projected completion date of mid-2017.
iMDsoft today announced that it has been acquired by Harris Computer Corporation, an arm of the Constellation Software group. iMDsoft will be run as an independent business unit within Harris. The system is now live in their OR at Sittard, replacing their existing patient data management system (PDMS). This go-live follows the implementation of MetaVision in the ICU at Heerlen last year. When complete, the project will encompass 110 beds at the two locations in their ORs and ICUs.
