    Successful start to St. Franziskus Stiftung project: First hospital goes live

    Franziskus Hospital Münster, a longtime iMDsoft customer, has upgraded to the latest version of MetaVision in their ICU and OR. St. Franziskus Stiftung, a German foundation, will use one database for all four sites in the project: St. Franziskus-Hospital Münster, St. Barbara-Klinik Hamm-Heessen, Krankenhaus St. Joseph-Stift Bremen and St. Bernhard-Hospital Kamp- Lintfort. This database will be managed centrally from one location, lowering total cost of ownership.

    MetaVision now live at all three hospitals in Västerbotten County Council, Sweden

    The council, which is comprised of Norrland University Hospital in Umeå, Lycksele Hospital, and Skellefteå Hospital, is currently installing MetaVision in 160 beds, throughout their critical care environment. The regional project will continue with implementations in units such as NICUs, ICUs, CTICUs, intermediate care units, ORs and PACUs through the spring of 2017.

    iMDsoft delivers clinical information management to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Canada

    MetaVision is now live throughout their critical care environment. The system has been implemented in adult, neonatal and burn intensive care units, across a total of 145 beds. Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre has 1.2 million patient visits each year and is home to Canada's largest trauma centre. Two hundred scientists and clinician-scientists conduct more than a hundred million dollars of breakthrough research each year.

    Fifth site at Nexuz Health in Belgium goes live with MetaVision

     AZ Turnhout, a large regional hospital spread over 2 campuses, is now using the system in their ICU. Nexuz Health, a consortium of 17 partners who work together to support the goals of accessible and high-quality patient care in Flanders, uses Klinisch Werk Station for computerised management of its patient records throughout the network, with MetaVision providing specialised functionality and standardisation of workflows for over 200 critical care beds to date. A sixth Nexuz hospital, AZ Sint-Jan Brugge-Oostende, is slated to go-live in the spring of 2017.

    First NICU in Sweden live with MetaVision

    Akademiska Sjukhuset has rolled out the system to their Neonatal ICU. Uppsala County Council, which includes Akademiska Sjukhuset and Enköping Hospital, is implementing MetaVision across their high acuity environments. The regional project is well underway, with a projected completion date of mid-2017.

    Harris Computer Corporation acquires iMDsoft

    iMDsoft today announced that it has been acquired by Harris Computer Corporation, an arm of the Constellation Software group. iMDsoft will be run as an independent business unit within Harris. It will be led by Shahar Sery, a seasoned iMDsoft executive, who has been nominated to the role of Executive Vice President.

    First site at New South Wales Health now live with MetaVision

    We are excited about the successful start of one of the largest enterprise-wide ICU clinical information system implementations in the world. In mid-October eHealth NSW’s eRIC (electronic Record for Intensive Care) Program implemented the MetaVision clinical information system in the ICU at the pilot site - Port Macquarie Base Hospital (PMBH). “From day one, eRIC will provide significant benefits to patient care and clinical workflow including electronic documentation, medication management and integration with bedside devices. Our staff have embraced this unique new system, which has been designed for clinicians by clinicians and will support them in caring for critically ill patients,” said Jane Evans, PMBH General Manager.

    MetaVision project at Zuyderland in the Netherlands continues successfully

    The system is now live in their OR at Sittard, replacing their existing patient data management system (PDMS). This go-live follows the implementation of MetaVision in the ICU at Heerlen last year.  When complete, the project will encompass 110 beds at the two locations in their ORs and ICUs.

    Proud to partner with global digital exemplars

    We work closely with University Hospital Southampton (UHS) and West Suffolk Hospital, two of the twelve global digital exemplars selected by NHS to help the UK healthcare system go paperless. UHS is now in the process of implementing our mobile electronic observation system, MetaVision SafeTrack, as well as the MetaVision CIS. West Suffolk Hospital has been live with the MetaVision CIS in their ICU since November 2010.
