Streamlined preoperative assessment by clinicians

MetaVision for the preoperative setting (MVpre-op) is a Clinical Information System designed to facilitate documentation and assessment during the pre-op process. Using MVpre-op, clinicians can order pre-op tests and medications, complete preoperative assessments, and create an anesthesia plan. MVpre-op displays patient data imported from hospital information systems and provides a complete patient history including patient demographics, patient health, anesthetic history, allergies, current medications and data from previous surgeries and stays. MVpre-op can be used at the day clinic or at remote sites such as the surgeon’s office via the internet using iMDsoft’s web-based portal myMV. Pre-op data can later be accessed on the day of surgery in the OR through seamless integration with anesthesia electronic medical records.

Streamlined entry of medical histories by patients

In selected territories, iMDsoft partners with third parties to offer web-based solutions that enable patients to enter their own medical information from home, prior to visiting the hospital for their operation. These solutions collect, process, format, and store patient data, scheduling information, and quality assurance information. This information is seamlessly integrated with MetaVision, ensuring that the complete record is available when patients arrive for surgery.
