iMDsoft® takes a strong, proactive approach to system integration across departments and with existing and planned investments in hospital technology. We maintain a dedicated in-house team of experts who focus solely on the development of interfaces. This ensures that our software platform integrates seamlessly with all major Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and the most widely used medical devices on the market today, while complying with the hospital’s overall IT strategy.
Our team of integration specialists, system analysts, and clinicians analyzes a hospital’s unique needs and topology and provides full consultation and recommendations based on best practices. Our wide experience in this industry means that we are capable of handling special system integration requirements and of providing solutions to non-standard systems, including legacy systems. The integration team analyzes, develops, tests and provides meticulous onsite support to all integration components before and after the day the system goes live.
Supports standard medical protocols
The MetaVision® Suite has been designed to be fully interoperable with standard system protocols, such as HL7 and CCOW, making seamless integration with all typical hospital systems a reality. Our integration specialists work closely with the hospital’s IT staff, 3rd-party medical device manufacturers, and information system vendors to develop the required solutions. We support HL7 Messaging standard, HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), HL7 Clinical Context Object Workgroup (CCOW) and IHE Device Enterprise Communication.
Seamlessly integrates with HIS
iMDsoft derives its extensive knowledge and experience of HIS from working closely with many hospitals to interface with an array of existing hospital information systems from multiple vendors. Systems with which MetaVision is interoperable include ADT, Labs, CPOE, drug cabinets, archive, billing, scheduling, PACS, LDAP, and coding.
Interfaces with a full range of devices
MetaVision’s library of drivers covers over two hundred medical devices, including those most widely available on the market today. Additional drivers are continually being developed by our integration team to meet any further customer requirements.
